SEND at Canon Johnson
Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) is Miss Buckle and our link governor is Mr Davies.
Miss Buckle is responsible for the implementation of our school’s SEND policy, co-ordinating additional support for pupils with SEND, liaising with parents, teachers and other professionals who are involved and monitoring the attainment and progress of all SEND pupils.
If you have any concerns about your child’s learning or if you think that they may have a special educational need, please do not hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher or Miss Buckle and together we can plan the best method of support for your child.
At Canon Johnson we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school. We recognise that children learn in different ways and at different rates and that some children may need extra support or intervention to help them to reach their full potential.
